The person behind Enginuity Training
Dyrick Hobbs
Founder and Principal Trainer
Enginuity Training was founded by Dyrick Hobbs, a Chartered Professional Engineer and Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland with 45 years of construction industry experience.
Dyrick’s career combines 25 years working as a construction contractor with a further 20 years in construction contract administration. His experience spans building, civil infrastructure, road and bridge projects, giving him a practical understanding of contracts from both the contractor and administrator perspectives.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering. His professional credentials include MIEAust, CPEng, NER, APEC Engineer, IntPE(Aus) and RPEQ (Qld), with registered areas of practice in civil engineering and leadership and management.
Throughout his career, Dyrick has trained and mentored construction professionals both formally and informally. He established Enginuity Training to address a common industry gap: training that explains contract requirements but does not adequately prepare people for the realities, pressures and relationships involved in day-to-day project delivery.
Enginuity Training brings together practical contract interpretation, communication, leadership, commercial awareness and interpersonal skills so participants can administer and deliver contracts more effectively.
